U S Consutition
All this talk of whats acceptable and whats justified by the constitution, whats right..whats wrong, in my opinion has a relatively simple conclusion. The constittion, written hundreds of years ago by men far brighter and socailly intelligent than any one of us is sometimes undermined by people not looking far enough into it. The men who wrote it knew what they were doing. Theres a limit to what you can hide behind and what doesn't count. Whats claimed to be fair and not fair, just and unjust to me seems all completely fair, completely just. Restrictions under the constitution, protection under the constitution, both are legitimate contrasts to everyday questions by US citizens. The men who wrote it, the founders of this country didnt scrible down a few words and called it a day. Much thought and care was put into the document that is the foundation of this nations proclamation of its peoples rights. Loop holes are plentiful, but usually in the hands of the right people. Deeming the constition unfair or beleiving anything you do can be protected by it is an untrue determination.

I do agree that the people that wrote the basic building block to our nation obviously were very intellgient and took a lot into consideration when they wrote it. They knew that there was a lot on their plate to look at. I also agree that things probably should be more simply labeled just or unjust. This middle road in between should not be there if these intellginet people wrote this document. However, I think as times have changed people have had more time to closely examine the Constitution and the "loopholes" that it does provide. Do you think that every case is simply against or protected by the Constitution?
John, although i do agree with you, the founders of our country weren't idiots; however, I still believe that we have grown as a country as well and we couldn't have done that without strong leaders. I mean that is one reason why we are educated about American History, because we can learn from the past and improve. I also want to point out without leaders that push the laws, the strong system, and respect the citizens of our country have to the government; a democracy wouldn't be successful. So yes the founders of our country were genius but I would also like to give the leaders and citizens credit to because they have kept it going.
